Built From the Inside Out
FIEA Consulting Inc. was built on a premise that should be obvious but rarely is: small and medium-sized financial institutions face the same regulatory complexity as the largest banks in the country but without the armies of compliance staff, the enterprise technology budgets, or the Big Four consulting retainers that make that complexity manageable.
We exist to close that gap.
Founded in Ontario in 2025 and backed by 20+ years of practitioner experience, FIEA is a specialized consulting firm dedicated to helping credit unions, mid-market asset managers, and fintechs modernize compliance through automation and govern AI responsibly. We don't offer generalist advisory across every regulatory domain. We do one thing with uncommon depth: we help financial institutions build compliance functions and AI governance frameworks that are efficient, audit-ready, and designed to hold up as regulations evolve.
Our clients are compliance officers, chief operations officers, and technology leaders who are under real pressure from regulators, from boards, and from the accelerating pace of AI adoption and who need a partner who has actually sat in those rooms and done this work.
That's what we bring.
Our Mission
To empower financial institutions to simplify compliance, strengthen governance, and responsibly adopt AI — without complexity becoming a barrier to doing it well.
Meet the Founder
Alexandria Davis | Founder & Principal Consultant
Alexandria Davis has spent more than 20 years building and leading compliance and governance functions inside some of North America's most complex financial institutions, across financial services, insurance, and technology.
Before founding FIEA, she served as Senior Compliance Business Oversight Manager at TD Bank leading Regulatory Compliance Management across Corporate Functions, designing monitoring programs, building policy frameworks aligned with OSFI, FINTRAC, and the Federal Reserve Board, and serving as primary contact during internal and external audits, receiving the TD League of Excellence Award twice in recognition of her contributions.
Through FIEA, she currently leads the corporate compliance functions, including compliance automation initiatives, at a major Ontario pension plan. Her core expertise spans compliance automation, AI governance framework design, regulatory change management, and translating complex audit findings into board-level decisions. She is also an active speaker and educator, bringing AI governance and responsible AI topics to academic institutions, industry panels, and executive audiences, translating complex regulatory and ethical challenges into practical, actionable frameworks.
Alexandria holds an MBA and is completing her Doctorate in Business Administration at Golden Gate University, specializing in Emerging Technologies with a focus on Generative AI. Her doctoral research, which produced the Protective Alignment (PAL) Framework, directly informs the governance frameworks and AI adoption strategies she brings to every client engagement.
She doesn't just advise on this work. She has done it, and she is still doing it.
Our Commitment
Compliance is not a cost center to be minimized. It is the infrastructure that allows financial institutions to innovate with confidence, earn the trust of the people they serve, and operate without the risk of regulatory failure. We take that seriously, and we build frameworks that reflect it.
FIEA's work is grounded in one principle: the institutions we serve deserve the same quality of compliance and AI governance expertise that the largest players in the market take for granted.
You don't need a bigger consulting firm. You need the right one.
FIEA works with a select number of financial institutions at a time because the work we do requires actual attention, not a templated deliverable. If you're ready to modernize compliance, govern AI responsibly, or both, let's talk.
